Review Standarts
Our main goal is to provide full and useful app reviews. Our authors strictly follow the rules: minimum 15 hours of the real app usage experience or gameplay, test on main Android and iOS versions, test on phones and tablets.

MyFitnessPal is a free app that’s tracking your exercises and nutrition. No matter what is your goal: to change habits, get healthier, lose weight or stay fit, the app might become your indispensable assistant.

Interface 4/5

The interface is very clean and neat with minimalist design. It’s a really good decision to keep things understandable, because app’s main focus is to provide users with well-organized data, rather than pretty but useless design features. The main information regarding diet plan and products can be introduced right in the header of the app. By clicking on the pie icon, you can get overview of your progress. The general impression is that the interface is elegant enough for a fitness app.

Features 5/5

First basic feature which app provides is the ability to track your weight and other measurements such as waist, hip etc. Data can be logged every day so you could see your progress on charts. Also, after every meal, the products can be introduced to keep track of consumed calories, and the information is being taken straight from a database with over 300 million different items. It’s also possible to create your own database though, which will include products you consume most frequently.

One of the best thing about MyFitnessPal is that it can create a personalized diet, based on the individual weight loss goals. It will be presented as a detailed list of macronutrients and micronutrients as well as necessary exercises to reach your goals. Regardless of what physical activities you practice: strength exercises, swimming, running or yoga, those can also be successfully tracked.

App also provides a barcode scanner that can successfully recognize around 4 million products and restaurant food logger. Using all those functions is like having a coach right next to you that always gives you healthy advice.

Usability 5/5

The app does its job if taken seriously. Those who wish to stay fit or lose weight must still count calories and track exercises, although with MyFitnessPal the whole process gets a lot easier. Unlike other trackers, you don’t need to introduce here every ingredient for every meal you’ve consumed. You can just create your own recipes and save them at favorites. That saves a lot of time and motivation to hold on to goals. Speaking about goals, if you can’t manage to create them for yourself, the app will by analyzing your habits.

Compatibility 5/5

Calorie counter and diet tracker is available for both Android and iOS devices. It looks great on smartphones, tablets and even smartwatches, assuring that you’ll always track your exercises and nutrition.

MyFitnessPal provides important and accurate information on how to stay healthy and reach your goals. All necessary data regarding the amount of calories and nutrients can be found in a large database with over 300 million different items. Thanks to the clean and elegant interface, the app is easy to use, which is why millions of people all around the world use it on a daily basis.
