The Sims FreePlay review
The Sims Freeplay is one of the most popular life simulation games that has been developed by Electronic Art. The game lets you create humans (Sims), build your dream mansion, operate a business, etc.
Graphics and Sound 4/5
The game boasts of amazing graphics that elevate the gaming experience by several notches. Be it car, garden, pets, humans, buildings or vehicles, everything has been designed intricately and meticulously. The graphics are so realistic that the game makes you believe that you are a part of it. A soft and soothing music tracks always stay in the background for a nice experience. However, the magic lies in various other sound effects. For instance, dog barking, Sims chatting, traffic noise, oven timer sound, etc.
Engaging is that one word which describes the gameplay of the Sims FreePlay perfectly. The game provides you the whole of the town that you need to manage on your own. You can add buildings, businesses, houses and up to 16 Sims. You can change the look and style of all the Sims with a myriad of hair styles, attires, etc. provided by the game. There are two types of currency in the game which help you in unlocking the features.
There are certain tasks that you need to complete to attain special items and abilities. For example, you can direct your Sim to the garden for gardening, make him/her watch the television, etc. It is interesting to note that everything that a Sim undertakes takes a real amount of time. So, for instance, your Sim is watching a movie of two hours, then it will actually take two hours to finish that task. Though, meanwhile, you can engage with other Sims but there is no fast forward.
Once you complete the tasks assigned to you by the task generator, you get Lifestyle points which are essential for unlocking many new features.
The game is known for its efficient controlling and superb interface. By tapping on your phone, you can move a Sim from one place to another. The task generator throws tasks at you from time to time which you can accept with a single tap. The bottom left corner of the game showcases all the tasks lined up and the bottom right corner displays other options such as shopping, checking the status of building work, switching the Sim etc. The top of the screen shows the currency level, level of the game, etc.
Lasting Appeal 4/5
The game is known to have an everlasting appeal on the gamers. Because it uses the real time for a task completion, the gamers can assume the progress of their tasks and keep on checking the Sims from time to time. Building more houses, businesses, etc. encourages the players to switch to the game more often. Earning currency and unlocking certain abilities hold the gamers for quite a long time.
The game is not difficult but it surely demands lots of patience from those who are playing it. It is all about time and task management with all the Sims. If you involve all the Sims at the same time in different tasks, you have nothing to play unless they all accomplish their tasks.
Once you play The SimsFreePlay, you feel like the ruler of the town. The game allows you to roam freely in the town and get to peek at some of the activities that you have never seen before. You don’t just play a game, you live a whole life. Right from childhood to getting married, to having kids and growing old, the game lets you experience each and everything. Whether you play with your little ones or cuddle your pet, the game is sure to give you a fun time every single time you play it.
